Filthy Boy: A Friends With Benefits Hockey Romance (The Puck Boys of Brooks University Book 3)
£3.80
Wild.
Loose cannon.
As one of college hockey’s most feared defensemen, I’ve been told I’m all those things and more. The ice is the only place where I can take my anger out on other people and get applauded for it.
The rougher I play, the dirtier I am, the more praise I get.
I suppose the same could be said about me in the bedroom.
I’m not the dude you want your daughter bringing home to meet you. Because your angel? Well, I’ll make sure her halo is crooked by the time I’m done with her.
But I’ve met my match. The one who won’t be so easy to leave behind.
And the thing with Bria Collins? She’s nobody’s angel.
But just because she doesn’t wear a halo … doesn’t mean she can handle my darkness.

This book is incredible! Brody and Bria have both been through so much growing up, and Hannah does an incredible job with these characters.
We met both Brody and Bria in the first books in this series. I fell in love with Brody in Broken Boy and I was so excited when I realised he was going to have his own story. I was not disappointed!! The character development is amazing.
Seeing Brody and Bria grow from friends to more is amazing, I love watching their relationship grow and how they’re there for each other in ways that they’ve both never had before.
Absolutely amazing book and series and cannot wait for more

“My entire life, I’ve had nothing. Which means I have nothing for the world to take. I can’t lose you, Bria. You’re the closest thing I have to a family.”
‘Bria Collins has recently moved to Brooks University to start her grad program. Whilst doing a job to earn some extra money, she encounters the star defenseman of the Brooks hockey team, Brody O’Brien. Brody & Bria strike up a friendship and realise they have more in common than they thought, especially about their past. The only trouble is, friends can only stay just friends for so long…’
Where to even start – 5/5 Stars for this beautiful work of art. This book will be forever ingrained in my brain.
As a fan of Hockey, Reading & Disney, yes yes yes to everything in this book.
I thought nobody could beat Cam but Brody has taken that top spot. His story is so heart-breaking and emotional, and yes I did cry multiple times whilst reading. The way he makes jokes and humour to cover the fact that underneath, he really is just a broken boy (sorry Link, not stealing your thunder!).
Bria was just as broken, and I just adored the way they were able to support each other and understand what the other has gone through, without even needing to use words at times. They are each other’s person, no doubt about it.
And I’m sorry, she took him to DISNEY WORLD! Even I would’ve fell in love with Bria. Brody being scared of It’s a Small World was both hilarious and completely valid.
My absolutely favourite moments though are whenever Brody called Bria his family. “I’m sorry. I just … I get protective of family.” Can you still hear me crying?! And the meaning behind the tattoo!! This sweet perfect man.
Cannot recommend this book and this series enough.

This is the third book in the Puck boys of Brooks U series and, in my opinion, the absolute best.
Hannah Gray really brought it all with this book. Brody and Bria bring all the feels in this book. They both had so much depth and felt that they were damaged due to their pasts, but Brody particularly broke my heart ???? that man has brought the banter in all of the previous books and has been my absolute favourite side character. However, in this book, we see how he uses his humour as a cover for all of his hurt. Until he meets Bria. I absolutely loved the banter between these two it had me laughing out loud at some parts!! The connection they share is clear from the beginning.
These two were everything. They made me laugh and cry and swoon and let me tell you when they give in to the sizzling chemistry they have going on, we definitely see why Brody has a reputation as a ladies’ man!!
I adore how they just want to make each other happy, like nothing makes them smile more than seeing th other happy and content, and thats what love is all about ????
This book is so much more than a sports romance or a friends to lovers romance. It was a whole emotional journey of learning to trust and love and learning that not everyone who comes into your life will eventually leave, and some people are made for each other just like Brody and Bria.

This was my first read by the author and I enjoyed it, but for some reason didn’t absolutely love it and get fully swept away. I found my interest wavered a little bit in places but I still thought it was a 4 star because the emotional journey Brody went on towards the ending was really good and I found it very moving. I think I’d like to read the previous books in the series and then revisit this as perhaps it would work a little better for me when I’m in a better frame of mind.

What a great read, a true page turner. I really loved all the characters in this story, such a big happy family of great friends. Both lead characters are wonderfully written, their stories of pain and loss pulling them together. Bria and Brody’s story is superb, the love they eventually find together is breathtaking. I particularly loved Brody’s dirty mouth he was wicked. The banter between them was great just made the book for me. I have a super new book boyfriend now and I’m keeping him. Wonderful, steamy heartfilled story I loved ????????
