Bex, she really was such a sweet but fierce character! I really really enjoyed their story and it’s safe to say I couldn’t put it down. I read it all in one go!

Good start to the series. Engaging book with interesting story with lots of heartwarming moments, some sad ones, lust ,love , great friendship and family issues.Some drama but not over the top. Just feel good read. No cheating or OW drama.

I am in love with James Callahan and am BEYOND jealous of Beckett and the fact that she’s with him, I would do anything to swap places with her and be with this perfect man. He is such a sweetheart who deserves the world for the kind heart he has which is full of gold and passion. He’s not your typical playboy and has an insane amount of respect for women, especially his fake girlfriend. The effort he puts into his games is remarkable and the determination he has for his relationship and future is admirable. He’s perfect.
Beckett doesn’t have it easy, that much is clear and while I know she’s always been meant for bigger things, she really needed to figure that out for herself. The way she cares for others is something that will continue to make her a wonderful person for years to come, and while she’s just a fictional character, she’s a person I wish I knew personally and had the pleasure of being close with, because she’s the type of person EVERYONE needs in their life. Kind, caring, supportive and loyal, she’s everything you need in a friend and partner. Her photography is her dream, and while she may want to keep to a promise, she is meant for bigger things.

James has moved to Mckee university for a fresh start and is the new QB of the team with hopes of going to the NFL after college. What he didn’t expect was to be resitting a writing class, and bumping into the girl that he met at a party. Beckett’s trying to start off the new school year single and dealing with an ex who won’t go away. However, when James asks for her to tutor him, what better payment is there except ask him to be her fake boyfriend. But things don’t always stay as fake as planned.
This is my favourite read of 2023 so far and I am so thankful i picked this up! James and Bex were exactly what i needed. This book was filled with so much angst, sexual tension, comedy, sarcasm, butterfly moments and was spicier than i anticipated! James is the ideal book boyfriend, his protectiveness over Bex had me squealing and he was so dang cute at times, but boy is that man dominant. Bex was dealing with so much when it came to her ex, her mother and realising her feelings towards James. I loved these two so much but we cannot forget about James’ siblings; Coop, Seb, and Izzy.
I am so excited to read these guy’s stories and I predict that Seb is going to be my favourite brother of the 3 (sorry, not sorry)

I liked this book. The fake dating storyline is one I’ve read a lot but this was a very enjoyable story. The characters were well written and likable. I’m looking forward to reading about the other 3 siblings.
