Early phonics – good for getting your child used to sounding out words – colourful pictures, although on some cards the word is not obvious without sounding

My son didn’t really enjoy these and got bored quite quickly. It is quite varied and lots to get through but does get boring once you’ve been through it all and difficult to get a young child to continue going through it

Nephew loved the cards and is learning well.

I love using these First Words Flashcards with my granddaughter as it’s really helping her to learn more words. We practice daily and she’s learnt all the words quite quickly so l would make a game out of it. The Flashcards have helped her with her reading too.
She actually pointed out some of the words in the book she had recognised from the Flashcards and remembered them!
( clapping, clapping, clapping.) I will definitely be buying more Flashcards and recommend them to anyone whose child is ready to learn.

simple cards, with big letters and pictures. It is great how the pack is structured with different colour coded cards to advance through.
