“Obsessed… read in one day… One of the best rom-coms I’ve ever read.” Reader review, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Five gold rings. Delivered to the wrong addresses. Five Christmas proposals and weddings ruined. Unless Eve can save the day…?

As Christmas lights twinkle around London, twenty-eight-year-old Eve arrives home ready to celebrate her favourite holiday, only to find… her boyfriend in the shower with a pretty blonde.

Heartbroken, Eve throws the gifts she’s selflessly bought and wrapped for HIS family out of the window, then heads to Caspars’ Jeweller’s, where she works, for some tea and sympathy.

But there she discovers another drama unfolding; five rings have gone AWOL, and unless she can track them down and deliver them to their rightful owners five perfectly planned festive weddings and proposals will end in disaster.

Eve’s colleague Joe – moonlighting as a naked butler at a Christmas party – races to assist on her wild goose chase across London, dressed as a sexy elf.

Together they set off on a mission to save Christmas. And along the way, just maybe, some of that festive cheer and romance might rub off on Eve and Joe, and help heal Eve’s broken heart…

An utterly hilarious novel for anyone looking for festive romance with all the feels. If you have a hot date with Love Actually every Christmas you will adore this gloriously funny and unmissable festive read.

This was such a fun and lighthearted Christmas romantic comedy. I was laughing out loud at scenes throughout – it definitely gives you the feel good factor.

When Eve discovers her boyfriend of three years, Chris, is cheating on her with his work colleague… in their shower… a couple of days before Christmas, she is distraught. Going on a rampage of Christmas gifts under their tree, she finds an engagement ring. Chris was going to propose… while having an affair on the side.

She visits the jewelers where she works part time to investigate the engagement ring he bought – but this turns out to be the beginning of the best Christmas for Eve. Eve and her colleague, Joe, are tasked in delivering five engagement rings on Christmas Eve. These ring deliveries aren’t all that simple, but neither are Joe and Eve’s feelings for each other.

‘I’m starting to think that it’s some sort of conspiracy that none of these ring deliveries have been simple drop-offs’.

    ????????????????????????????????
This was such a ‘makes you feel cosy inside’ read, and definitely gets you in the mood for the festive season. The delivery of the rings were hilarious, every time they would deliver one, they would be invited to stay and get up to all sorts of whacky things. It had be snorting in some places of the things Joe and Eve were getting up to!

I loved seeing Joe and Eve’s friendship, how Joe was making sure Eve was okay – while hiding the feelings he’s had for her for years. But spending the time together, Joe being there for her and helping her to have a great time.. during a really rough time, makes Eve realise that Joe is the one she wants.

‘It started off so badly, but somehow, it’s turned into the best memorable Christmas ever’.

Also, was great to see Ed from Sex Ed at the end of the book! I was reading and thought, wonder if that is him, and then reading the letter from the author – it was him! Love the crossover.

This book was such a heart-warming Christmas read and I absolutely loved it.

This book is full of laugh out loud moments and festive joy and it was one that had me laughing and smiling throughout.

I really liked the pace of this book and felt it was the right amount of fast and slow, and the romance aspect itself was really great to read, that didn’t felt overly rushed or forced and was quite nice to read at the pace it was.

If you’re looking for a cute, romance Christmas read, this is the perfect one for the season and to get you into the festive mood!

Five Gold Rings is a perfect easy read for the festive scene. It has the right mix of humour, compassion, and love, that demonstrate the real meaning of Christmas. I really enjoyed this.

I could totally see this book as a film! There are so many giggle worthy moments, and romantic moments too, that it is dying out to be made onto a big or little screen. Actually I could probably see it as a stage production too – it’s just so enjoyable.

It’s such a lovely story, and the mission to deliver 5 gold rings over the run up to Christmas, leads to so many fabulous situations.

Oh and did I mention that Eve’s co-Christmas good deeder – also works as a sexy elf, complete with his own jingle balls (I mean bells).

There is just fun, innuendo and even more around every page.

For Joe has fancied Eve for ages and just wants to make her feel better after she caught her boyfriend receiving a job in the shower (you can use your imagination as to what sort of a job). Eve goes a bit ballistic, in one of the best instant revenge type scenes I’ve read in a long while.

And there is even better revenge later in the book that had me greatly amused too, but I won’t spoil it. So when her employers at the jewellers, ask them to team up to deliver these rings it is very fortunate timing.

Each chapter is split so that we get some from Eve’s perspective and some from Joe’s and I loved getting to know both characters.

This book is a lot of fun, and made me feel quite festive and also it’s full of romantic gestures too – all over London.

Utterly enjoyable, provides hours of fun and amusement while you are reading it. I really should this author more often!

Thank you to Storm Publishing and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

My first Christmas book of the year and it did NOT disappoint ❄️

What a wonderfully emotional read. I won’t lie, I went into it thinking that it was going to be a run of the mill soft romance, and whilst it definitely fell under that category, the author managed to craft a lovely, feel-good story that encouraged genuine connection with the main characters and their families & friends.

The rhythm of the story was spot on and I thoroughly enjoyed the different tangents that the storyline took whilst Eve & Joe were delivering the rings. I loved that we got an insight into the minor characters’ lives and the whole book had a cosy feel to it that I expect from a holiday romance.

Admittedly, I didn’t enjoy Eve’s character as much as I did Joe. I found her to be altogether too selfish for my liking and I felt almost sorry for Joe at certain points; however, the overall connection between them was sweet and it certainly didn’t sour my enjoyment of the book.

I’m very happy that this was my first seasonal read of the year and I would definitely recommend it to others!

Thought it started off somewhat slowly but once it got going it gathered momentum and ended up being a very entertaining if not laugh out loud funny. The characters as always were larger than life but that only enhanced the story.
Glad there way a happy ending.
For a light enjoyable read this is it.
