This book is based around the leader of the dance group, the Fly High Crew, who are struggling for rehearsal space, getting hassle from the Deputy Head (who really doesn’t like them) and bullied. But their friendship, and the brotherly bond between the leader and his brother, is strong. Then strange things start to happen, adults behave oddly, and suddenly everything as they know it is under threat.
The language is fairly straightforward, the pacing good and the characterisations are well drawn. This will appeal to a variety of children, from those interested in dance or parkour, to those who understand what its like to try to get on when it isn’t easy. It is a heart warming, pacey adventure.
