I’m not in the habit of buying books by YouTubers or influencers, but I’m so glad I’ve bought this book. Anton’s passion for Japanese culture and renovation truly shines through. I’ve always loved the traditional aesthetics in Japan, but I had no idea that locals prefer new builds to that extent, nor did I appreciate the depreciation calculations etc, which is so different from the culture in the UK. While buying a house in Japan may not be practical for most people, this book doesn’t sugarcoat the challenges. I’d dearly love to do it – maybe one day! Thanks, Anton, for taking the time to write this book and for sharing your experience and knowledge. I wish you all the best in your endeavours!
