This book is quite informative for people who want to know some information about the country however it is not incredibly in depth, as expected, which is the reason for me giving it 3 stars

Very good Introduction to French.

Found this an excellent book – however I would say my French is around the intermediate level and this book may be a little confusing for a complete beginner! As a beginner this would be a great book to use as a supplement to class based lessons but don’t try and learn the language from this book alone.

This little book explains fully (without too much complicated jargon) all the essential grammar and sentence structure required for the discerning student. I have recommended it to my friends.
