Full of ideas for developing and expanding a fruit and vegetable garden. I live in Tasmania, Australia, and I find the English gardening publications really helpful in creating a successful produce garden in this cool-climate state,

The cover says it all, it is an ideas book. It doesn’t tell you everything you need to know but enough to get you interested and started. I have flipped through this a dozen times and every time I pick up on something else. I have read most of it in other often excellent books but it was this one that cemented the idea. It has that two-page spread approach that I like so much, so everything about any particular topic is there and you don’t have to turn through page after page. The photos are good quality, really close up when they need to be or stood back when context and surroundings are important. Any book that gives you the secret of sowing parsley must be wort it.
