This is an excellent book for preparation for the ‘new format’ of English Language & Literature exams which will begin in 2017. Each section is laid out clearly with ‘Key Point’ and ‘Key Words’ boxes on each page to highlight the important points/words to each relevant page. Each section also has a Quick Test at the end of each section to reinforce understanding.
The first half of the book is an extremely useful revision guide which will work perfectly if used in conjunction with the work being completed at school/college. I would strongly recommend any student to begin reviewing this book a few weeks prior to sitting the actual exam. The second half of the book is a workbook, with an excellent selection of ‘exam style’ questions relevant to each section.
The answers to to the questions are at the end of the book with well written exemplars used for student reference.
Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this book to students/tutors alike, as this will undoubtedly give the student an edge when sitting the exam.
A reasonably priced book that is well worth the money.

During Lock-down, I have been trying to occupy myself by revising long-forgotten school subjects. First Maths, then Science and now English. The Collins All-in-One revision & Practice (GCSE /KS£) are excellent – well laid out, thorough and clear. Even with the postage, the English Language & Literature is way cheaper than shop bought and is in perfect condition. It is the 2015 curriculum, but that doesn’t matter to me as the content is still relevant. They are the best of the available publications and this supplier (WeBuyBooks) delivered as promised and within the specified time. Highly recommended.
