Revision cards are a top-notch method to consolidate the knowledge learned from textbooks as I find the extra interactivity to help with students remembering facts.
The cards are quite well made and easy to follow. Some of the cards have little pictures on them. This pack of 64 cards covers topics, themes and their respective questions and answers related to Islam and Christianity for the AQA A GCSE Religious Studies exams. If you or your child don’t have that as the exam board then it might not be as useful to you.
Nevertheless, these cards are perfect for their purpose. My son, who’s doing his GCSEs this year, has found these to be quite helpful for remembering topics and the related answers. When interacting with my son on these topics, even I gain new knowledge.
Overall, you can’t go wrong with products by CGP Books, their revision guides and textbooks always deliver information in a concise and easy to digest manner. This card pack is no different so I highly recommend it.

Excellent revision cards for those studying a Christianity & Islam for GCSE Religious Studies (AQA A exam board).
This is a excellent set of 63 question cards.
Each card is based on one of ten topics
• beliefs, teachings and practices (set each for each religions)
• relationships and families
• religion and life
• the existence of god and revelation
• religion, peace and conflict
• religion, crime and punishment
• religion, human rights and social justice
• st mark’s gospel
• exam techniques
Each card is then split into three parts.
First there are a set of quick questions before moving on to follow up questions based first on religious teaching ending with a key belief/opposing opinions question.
All the answers are on the back of each card.
overall these are great little cards which you can easily pull one out to test yourself on.
These cards are designed to be used with CGP matching revision guide (the topics of the cards match with the book), which I recommend having to get the most out of the cards.
These are a great revision tool which will hugely benefit students revising for exams.
Excellent quality as expect from CGP.

Very good way to revise

Always recommend CGP for revision at GCSE and A Level, and these cards are no exception. They offer a thorough exploration of both Christianity and Islam, aligning with and focusing on what you need to know for AQA curriculum. The format helps to build recall, and a knowledge of all the important areas. The cards are compact and portable, and the material of the cards and box are both sturdy and good quality – these won’t get ruined easily, so perfect for revision on the go.

This is a pack of 64 good quality cards that are divided into colour coded sections.
The reverse of the top card advises ‘HOW TO USE THESE CARDS’ (image below refers).
With rounded corners, each clearly laid out card measures around 11.5 cm x 7.5 cm and has ‘QUICK QUESTIONS to start’ & ‘FOLLOW-UP QUESTIONS about religious teachings, opposing opinions and other areas of study’ on the front. The answers are on the back, often including points that could have been made.
Breaking up the text is the usual scattering of colourful little illustrations, sometimes with a touch of humour.

First off- make sure you order the right pack as there is a Christianity and Buddhism syllabus with flashcards as well.
Then, if you’ve got this pack it looks like you need to sort through depending on whether you are studying the Catholic or Protestant (Anglican?) version of Christianity. I feel that they could have been better colour coded or numbered to distinguish them.
