This is a neat set of Q & A cards, all presented in landscape orientation, each measuring roughly 11.5 cm x 7.5 cm, with rounded corners.
Breaking up the text areas are the usual colourful, often humorous clipart pictures, which CGP’s revision tools are famous for.
The 64 good quality cards are presented in a cardboard box, which measures around 11.75 cm x 7.75 cm x 3.5 cm and has a finger indentation on the back for easy opening. There is a resealable, transparent little plastic-type disc seal that works for a while, but I find that the lid tucks in & stays closed fine without it.
The cards are split into 7 COLOUR-CODED SECTIONS, namely:
~ ALGORITHMS (Cards 1 ~ 5)
~ PROGRAMMING (Cards 6 ~ 20)
~ DESIGN AND TESTING (Cards 21 ~ 25)
~ DATA REPRESENTATION (Cards 26 ~ 38)
~ COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND DATABASES (Cards 39 ~ 50)
~ NETWORKS (Cards 51 ~ 59)
~ ISSUES (Cards 60 ~ 63)
Each SECTION is subdivided into TOPICS, with QUICK QUESTIONS to warm up with, followed by more complex ones.
The answers are on the back, along with a handy TIP at the bottom.
Occasionally, a topic may be longer than a single card.

Revision cards printed well on decent card and not flimsy or low quality ink. Pack comes with an instruction card and each card has a number, a colour coded topic indicator a quick question with further examples and answers on the back with a tip on the subject. Handy for revision and you can make a game out of them to set challenges and rewards to help engage the student. Any revision helps and these certainly make it easier

I picked these for my 14yo son who has just started his GCSE’s. They provide lots of essential info for the course. The way the cards are distilled down to provide the core information for the course is great. They can be used to absorb some basic knowledge at the early stages of learning, then as a revision aid nearing exams. They’re small enough to take on long car journeys, robust enough to last the 2 years of learning and split into 7 topic sections. I wish we’d had these years ago instead of having to make our own.
