I have always believed that in mathematics, one needs to be not merely knowledgeable but also passionate about the subject. Of course, this love needs to come from within, but once present, it is equally essential to develop it and make to blossom fully.

To achieve this, a good book on mathematics needs to have the right, well-balanced approach, presenting the subject in a manner that is at once clear, interesting, captivating and challenging. Only then is the reader, having become knowledgeable on the subject, is drawn into it as well, and ultimately ends up falling in love with it.

Jeevan’s book on GCSE Maths, which I picked up from Amazon to help my son with his IGCSEs, is an excellent example of such a book. Though it is designed to be covered in four weeks, it is not merely a summary of the topics, nor just a pocket guide filled with formulas and theorems to cram in just before the exams. Instead, it covers the topics comprehensively in such a way that the reader’s understanding and interest develop naturally and quickly.

The topics are superbly organized into graded tiers that form a natural progression from the simple ideas to the more complicated ones. Each solution is explained in a clear, step-by-step manner, with tips and tricks to assist the student at each stage. The whole material is presented from the exam perspective, and emphasizes crucial points often overlooked in classrooms.

In fact, this is one of the factors that put Jeevan’s book far ahead of comparable books. My son simply loved the way it gave him the “inside dope” on each topic, building up or deepening his understanding quickly and painlessly.

It is a well-known fact that a deep knowledge of mathematics is hard to achieve without a lot of study and practice. What this excellent book specializes in is in making the whole process effective, and almost effortless. The material just sinks in so easily! It helped my son in achieving his goal of becoming proficient in IGCSE Maths in just weeks, with minimal effort.

Because it provides such long-term value at a modest price, I believe that it would be an prized asset for all GCSE and IGCSE mathematics students – even when they have other books or guides available to them.

My son and I would strongly and unhesitatingly recommend this book to all who want to not only learn and become proficient in mathematics (and score the top grades every time!), but also develop a genuine passion for the subject.

Jeevan’s GCSE Maths in Four Weeks Revision Guide is extremely good as it not only incorporates more recent exam questions, but it explains how to tackle the more difficult ones which may put many students off. The guide is very easy to work with. It has key points and exam tips after each section which is very beneficial as the students will know what the examiners will look for when marking exam papers.

Jeevan always gives you a different insight into how to understand a particular topic and shows various ways of tackling and overcoming a fairly complicated question. Overall, I feel Jeevan’s GCSE Maths in Four Weeks Revision Guide is very good – it incorporates more recent exam questions, alternative ways to work out a question, key points and exam tips. It also shows students how to understand the mark scheme so they actually know what the examiners are looking for. Other GCSE Maths textbooks do not include these essential points. For it’s price, it’s definitely a bargain!

Not worth the money. My daughter struggles with maths and she like books with colour and this book is very dull and boring for the price. I do not recommend don’t waste your money and time

The program designed by Jeevan summarises what you need to know for your exam by focusing on the key concepts. The resources are well written and take the complexity out of the topics covered. The shortcuts and tips are especially useful and I’m already reaping the benefits; I can answer exam questions far quicker than I previously did. I’m confident that I will get a ‘C’ grade in the foundation-tier paper next summer (2015). Your study efforts are focused on the exam itself and your not wasting time going through a 400 page text book. This book gets you into “EXAM MODE”!

I am not satisfied with just a ‘C’ grade; I intend to enter for the higher-tier paper in November 2015, where I am aiming to get an ‘A’ grade overall. Before I came across Jeevan’s program, I would have been happy with just a ‘C’ grade at GCSE. I now want to aim for the best grade possible because I know I can do it. Thanks Jeevan for giving me the belief and confidence that I can do well in this subject. I’m even considering A-Level Maths! That’s quite phenomenal for someone who failed their GCSE maths before!

Very helpful, has tips to help with questions and has examples to show what to do 10/10 recommend. The only criticism I have is that it could be a bit more colourful and appealing

This is another fantastic produt from Jeevan Singh. Im a teacher and I recommend this guide to my students along with the Dr Chan Product also mentioned in the literature.

I have seen many students boost their grades and they credit the revision programme in this book with their success. High quality diagrams and explanations are contained in this book for all areas of GCSE maths. The book also has a really aspirational tone which I think really inspires students to rise to the challenge of their exams.

There is a chapter at the end with brilliant general exam advice as well as a really comprehensive revision plan. Buy the book just for this chapter alone as it contains some really important secrets to get the best out of your time in any exam, not just maths.
