I found some of the question topic examples slightly dubious (in terms of religion etc) and the book has a somewhat American vibe about it……??? I’ve had to re-write some of them to keep it appropriate for my students.

Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar make up 5% of the marks for for many GCSEs, so it is crazy to be throwing such easy marks away if you want to hit the top grades…but how to practice for the big day?
This book has lots of quick exercises – with the ansers at the back. Each exercise takes only a few minutes – so it can be added to homework and revision as a “break” between big topics without too much burden.
Like all the CGP books we have bought – it is well printed and bound – it can lay flat for filling in the exercises.
If your written English is not 100% confident (and who’s is?) then I rate this as a very good buy….I rate this as money well spent!
