I thought these books were absolutely great way to revise topics. Perfectly laid out, colour coded and easy to follow, not overwhelming at all. I would thoroughly recommend this book. The stroke section was very helpful and a great resource.

Excellent book, really helping me with my studies. Clear and easy to understand and at just the right level!

Stroke is not covered by this book or the clinical specalisties book
There are also several typos in the books – for example the book states under adrenal disease that a high ACTH causes hyperpigmentation by increasing MELATONIN production, but this is is incorrect – the underlying mechanism for hyperpigmentation in adrenal disease is increased MELANIN production
So whilst a good starting point, not perfect.

The book contents have been organised in a way that really helps follow the current curriculum taught at med school.
The content is concise and specific and contains all the relevant information. I tend to use this book more than the lectures.

This textbook has all the pertinent information you need for medical school in a condensed and visually appealing format. With handy acronyms to help remember information, it has been my primary source for my final year of medical school and I couldn’t recommend it enough to other medical students!

Amazing book that I used to study for my final exams and OSCEs. Concise, succinct, all you need to know to pass the exams. I’m from Australia btw, so this book is definitely transferrable across different countries and curriculums.

Fully recommend for any and every medical student.
