Bought this and one other as a gift for my daughter
by Leslie Crumpton-Taylor
This book is well bound and beautifully illustrated in full colour throughout. A few of the pictures do span the spine divide but not many. Each film is dealt with briefly but adequately with sufficient detail to show that the compilers have gone to some lengths to obtain their information rather than just clump together press cuttings & handouts. Historical snippets are scattered in the text where appropriate and by the end of the book one should feel that one has a sound understanding of Ghibli productions. It is not a technical work and so it is suitable for dipping into the individual sections but if you do read it from the beginning you might find that you are hooked (Oh just one more section …..).

Great book for Christmas! A little damaged around the edges but nothing that will take anything away from the book itself

Bought this for my girlfriend at Christmas and she was in awe. Lots of cool facts and information that she didn’t know and the book is laid out great. Super cool to see all of the films in one place and also to see some art from places she’d not seen. Great quality book also regarding materials.
