I’ve bought this book for grandchildren, great-nieces and great-nephews. They have all loved it.
Well written and illustrated; relatable and appealing main character. A feel-good story with a moral. What’s not to like!

This is a beautiful book to read with a toddler. The animals and the easy rhymes make this really engaging, although my one gripe is that the overall message isn’t very clear. I feel that the verse structure and readability of the story took priority, and I know that this is really all that matters to a young child, just perhaps don’t try read too much into it as a grown up. I feel that there are many other books out there which build towards a better lesson or moral. Saying that, dancing animals makes up for all of that. The illustrations are vibrant and have lots of things to point out while reading with a young one, and it’s the perfect length for story time at any time of day.

This story was fun and light but something my son still remembers more than a decade later.
I wanted to find a book to read to my son. I stumbled across this book and thought it would be a good option.
My son seemed to love it and asked my to read it for him.
The only reason it’s not a five is because there was books my son asked for more like scooby doo.????

The authors and the series of books they write have such deep meaning teaching children to believe in themselves and to attempt and not be afraid of making mistakes. I love the books so much and have bought quite a few from the same author. Would definitely recommend them to any parent to buy for their children.
