We love this book, my niece is 17 months old and I bought it for her as part of her xmas present, she loves this it. I did get confused and thought it was a hard book (I saw hardcover and didn’t think) but never the less she loves it and its a beautiful story, the limited edition hard cover is just beautiful too, one she will be able to keep and pass down to her kids and maybe even grandkids one day. Well worth the money

One of my favourite books.

My 18 month old daughter is obsessed with animals and really enjoys reading this story. We’re happy reading it to her too. Slightly cheesy, life affirming message at the end, but you can’t really fault dancing warthogs in a children’s book.

My son’s home library consists of mostly Julia Donaldson as he adores all her stories, so when he showed interest in a different author I jumped to get this straight away.
The story of Gerald the giraffe who doesn’t fit in because he can’t dance is wonderful and the illustrations are fantastic.
We now have the book and the Audible book as well.
A perfect addition for any childs library

I am a primary teacher and this is my all time favourite book. It addresses important issues of self worth (and bullying) in a relatable way, with a fun rhyme and bright pictures.
Very strong message.
I have bought this book for all my friends children!
