A very interesting book – can remember seeing some of the films on Channel 4 on Friday nights many years ago (it was a much better channel then, unlike now!). Was rather surprised Toho wanted more of a family oriented movie for the third instalment King Kong v Godzilla (1962) as it was slapped with a ‘X’ rating when it was first released in the UK – just like the UK equivalent movie Gorgo (1961) was.
