This book is beautiful, please remember that this is from his michelin starred restaurant so don’t buy it just to try to make everything at home, because is complicated, but is amazing to see how the 3 michelin starred restaurant works at the hearth of the kitchen, beautiful pictures I love this book is an amazing reading

This is a great book if you want to jump to another level of cooking. It is illustrated very lively and contains 51 recipes of starters, main courses and desserts. These recipes really require budget for which there are many rare and expensive ingredients. In order to cook these recipes, you must also have real cookery skills. Normally, Ramsay made videos on how he cooks his dishes; I’m a bit sad that he didn’t do the same thing for this book. Alternatively, this book is still good if you just simply like cooking and want to know more about the culinary world. The only thing I dislike is the separate book cover.

Great recipes and illustrations are fab, no one would ever deny that Gordon is a great chef but here he is not winning any stars for modesty. I have met some people who were knighted for their outstanding achievements in medicine that saved thousands of people and none of them have 130 pages of narcissism in their books.

I’ve been a fan of chef Ramsay for years and for me this is the first book of his that really shows what a great chef he is, for once we get a book that’s full of not only amazing recipes but passion which I feel has been missing from his other books… If your a chef like me or someone who is just a Ramsay fan you’ll love this book.

A beautifully presented book with some amazing recipes. If like me, you enjoy cooking and producing great results this book is definitely for you, a must for those special occasions even if you have to hunt for some of the ingredients which you wont find in your local supermarket the end result makes it well worth it…

This is not just a book, it’s a work of art! The presentation and the quality of the images are, in themselves, Michelin standard and show how perfectly the food should be presented. It really gives you something to aim for! The book starts by describing the effort involved in the day to day running of a 3 star restaurant, which is clearly no mean feat. Gordon’s passion for cooking and his desire for perfecton really shine through. The beutifully detailed pictures of each dish leave you wishing you could cook them, so it’s a very pleasant surprise when you turn to the second section of the book and realise that these are the recipes on offer! There are numerous starters, mains and desserts, of varying complexity. These are not 30 minute dishes and certainly not for the faint hearted, so if beans on toast is your forte, look elsewhere. However, if you’re prepared to put in the effort and spend a whole day creating a sublime meal, this may well be the book for you. To be honest, though, it’s actually worth buying just because it’s so pretty!
