by I ordered 10 books for the children – only 5 had good ink, but the other 5 has faded ink, and I have to return those ones.

This was just the most perfect ebook and I am so happy that I came across it. If you’re looking for support for certain anxieties or life challenges then this devotional is a key ingredient in the recipe to feeling better. Any teen girl that gets to pick this up is in for a treat as it really does address off the real life teen angst and worries that they may be facing.

Despite being a fair bit older than a teen, I still found this a very well thought out and helpful read especially when it comes to any workplace anxieties that I still face – I think that really we are all big kids/teens deep down.

This is an ebook that I will definitely be passing on to family members and recommending for others to ready. Its very uplifting without being too ‘smulchy’ and I think it will provide a great source of relief and support for teen girls who feel they are struggling.

by I ordered 10 books for the children – only 5 had good ink, but the other 5 has faded ink, and I have to return those ones.

This is another well-written and age appropriate book by Eileen Nyberg. The journal is simply laid out with 52 weeks of quotes and journaling activities to help teenage girls understand their faith and use it to help tackle problems they may be having at school, with friends or at home. The whole book is written with understanding and kindness. After each passage and writing there are questions to help delve deeper into the passage and how it links to daily life, a moment to reflect on things on your mind, and a prayer that ties it all together. Weekly prayers cover everything from pressures involving social media and dress to future uncertainty and coping with sadness. I am so glad I bought this guided Bible study journual.

I bought this for a mixed ethnicity young teen but, I couldn’t give it to her because 1. Some of the pictures are dodgy (what has unicorns got to do with Jesus????????) 2. Not one of the pictures represented her culture???? 3. Then there are the naff pictures – think fairytales????

In the end I kept it to gift to a young (white) teen at church, as the actual content is quite good. I wouldn’t buy it again unless the pictures to colour were changed to represent teens of all ethnicities.
