The universe of Halo is remarkably vast in scale and astonishingly elaborate in detail, telling rich stories filled with bold characters, breathtaking worlds, and thrilling conflicts. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Halo, Dark Horse and 343 Industries have teamed up to deliver the most definitive guide to the universe thus far.
The Halo Encyclopedia Deluxe Edition holds some of the Halo universe’s greatest secrets, which is why it is contained within a Forerunner cylix–a device that holds their civilization’s greatest secrets! A bit on the pricey side, but really is something amazing! The weight reflects how much this book contains! Any fans that have enjoyed the expanded lore of Halo will love this!

If you’re a Halo fan this is it! The art work is stunning, the lore takes hours to get through and reveals some amazing information (like Rookies name from ODST) definitely a must have, highly recommended!

The new Halo Encyclopedia is packed full of interesting lore from the Halo universe. Whether you’ve only played the MCC or you’ve read the entire EU, if you enjoy the franchise then you’ll definitely find something to pique your interest in this book. It’s huge, heavy, almost 500 pages long, and looks very, very nice.
The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that Bonnie Ross, Kiki Wolfkill, and Frank O’Connor have been thanked in the ‘special thanks’ section. I do not believe it is fair for the triumvirate of suits who’re tearing the franchise apart for their personal gain to be given any credit towards this masterpiece.
