Excellent read and a insight into to the mans who played rugby.
by Patrick Beale
An excellent read and insight into a great era of Welsh rugby. It provides a lot of information about what made these players so good, and why so many of them were so very tough. Creates a great understanding as to why Wales were so dominant in the amateur era.

Good book
by G Carroll
Good insight into the hard world of the dark arts before the professional game sanitised the game and took all the larger than life characters out of it.

Entertaining and a good trip around a personal selection of “Hard Men”.
Inevitably, the selection will vary for any individual. Not a great literary tome but I am glad to have it.
