This locket is absolutely brilliant, I had originally bought the more expensive replica one that you can find on here as a gift for my partner but had to send it back as it was made of plastic and was terrible quality for the £36 price tag.
I then bought this as a little joke gift until we could find a “proper” replica, but I have to be honest I still can’t believe how good this one is. It looks like the more expensive one, slight difference in the pattern on the front and doesn’t have any green felt on the inside but other than that it’s the pretty much the same, except that this one actually has a better chain 😀
Only downside is the sticker book which isn’t that great but after the disappointment of the expensive locket I REALLY can’t complain about this one especially considering it’s tiny price tag.

Good product, came as expected and on time. I bought this for our trip to Harry Potter Studio Tour London it was great and the kids loved the stickers. Overall quality is simply a mental chain and plastic locket, lightweight and a good toy/accessory.

I got this for my sister birthday and when I looked at it the chain is plastic and it snapped in my hand what is she going to think when she opens it

I think this replica is very nice for the price and it’s affordable.
Overall the locket looks plastic, but I feel that’s easily noticeable from the pictures.
The “silver” parts are matte/not shiny plastic, while the front and back “gems” are glossy plastic.
The chain is metal, so it’s best not too pull it too hard or the plastic where it is looped around could break.
There isn’t much room on the inside of the locket which is flat, but there is just enough to, say, put a small R.A.B. note. By the way the locket does not come with anything inside, so you’d have to make that note yourself. I might add here that this locket is probably the fake horcrux locket from the book, because the real horcrux locket is supposed to have a green emerald S for Slytherin.
Now the FUN part! I had some fun with the “gems”: there didn’t seem to be glue holding the gems in place, so I placed my thumbs to the center of each gem and gently pushed it back into the locket while opened.

When the gems came loose I could see each gem consists of a translucent olive-coloured dome over a flat silver plaque with symbols and scribbling in black. The front gem has a design with 3 stylized snakes at the center, some rune-like designs, and some small writings I couldn’t decipher. The back gem has lots of small scribbling and at the center it appears to say “Salazar Slytherin ab Aeternne”, I don’t think that Latin is correct but that’s what the writing looked like under a magnifier.

I won’t include pictures so as not to spoil the fun for anyone who wants to try it out. If someone deciphers more of the scribbling please share with me ^-^
The parts comprising the gems snap back into place in the locket frame without any fuss, but I’d still advice care so as not to wear out the plastic fittings from doing this with too much force or the wrong way. It’s pretty easy, though!
Overall: fun, affordable, a lovely replica for a small price!
