Hate You, Henley: An Enemies To Lovers Sports Romance (Brooks University Book 3)
£3.80
Oh, and the person I have to keep an eye on is mouthy and slightly nuts. And she hates me. She pushes my buttons and makes me question my own sanity. But, goddamn, she’s sexy.
Her parents asked me to look after her. To make sure she doesn’t do anything reckless at college. Because since she changed with no explanation last year, she’s been a hellion. Not to mention, a major thorn in my side. I should have told them to find someone else.
But I couldn’t say no. I’ll never say no when it comes to Henley Hayes.
Because deep down, I want her. If I’m being completely honest here, she’s all I’ve wanted since the day I took my first breath. And when I get it in my head that I want something, I’ll stop at nothing until it’s mine.
So, challenge accepted. I know she won’t make it an easy task. After all, the last thing she wanted was to be followed to college, especially by me, her newly declared enemy. But, hey, if I have to do the grueling job of being her babysitter, I might as well reap the rewards too. She can only hate me for so long. And her time’s running out.

Author: Hannah Gray
Book Title: Hate You, Henley: Brooks University #3
Genre: Romance
Tropes: Football, secrets, enemies to lovers, second chances (kind of)
Hate Me, Henley is the third and final book of The Brooks University Series.
Plot: Weston goes to Brook University to follow his football dreams and babysits Henley as her parents request.
It’s not an easy task. She’s rebellious, mouthy, and nuts.
Watching over her is no easy task, especially when he has feelings for her, and she hates him.
He’s adamant about breaking her down, but she’s keeping him at arm’s length.
Thoughts:
Wes was it for me, such a protector, and boy, some of the things he said had me so emotional.
Poor Henley; her story is heartbreaking. It keeps her locked in her past.
Wes and Henley’s story was full of tension, emotion, and entertainment.
The banter between the two was funny.
I loved reading about the other couples in the series too.
Conclusion: If you love sports romance, take a chance on Hannah Gray and her boys. This series was so good

‘It’s a curse to love someone this much. To love someone so deeply that you can’t pull yourself away from them.’
I don’t even know where to start with reviewing this book and how to summarise how I feel. This book literally broke me. The emotions it bought out in me were horrific and I never want to experience that again!
Weston, I am so in love with him and his character. He honestly deserved so much better than everything that happened and I wish he wouldn’t have forgiven Dane. Saying to your own blood brother “That girl will be my wife one day. Mark my words on that, bro.”, and then Dane going ahead knowing this and still doing what he does, nope no thanks. I could never forgive him, or Henley for that matter. In regards to the forgiveness, he forgave them both way too quickly in my opinion. Henley needed to grovel so much more than she did.
(Before I start with my opinion of Henley, I would just like to say this is in no way a criticism towards Hannah’s writing or this book, I just felt strongly about her character & actions). I have some very strong mixed feelings about Henley’s character and her actions. As soon as I found out what happened with Dane, I automatically couldn’t bring myself to like her for the rest of the book. I think it’s probably a ‘it’s me, not the book’ type of thing but I just can’t get behind her reasons for doing it. Yes she was single and could do what she wanted, but doing that just because you’ve heard a rumour is not it for me. And then the way she treated West after she messed up, yeah unforgivable. Even after we found out the whole story, I still couldn’t get over what she did. And the biggest thing that pissed me off more than anything was the fact that she slept with West, without protection, and she still hadn’t told him what had happened. Like I’m sorry?! West deserved so much more…
Despite all of what I said above about Henley, I loved this book so much and any book that can make me cry the way this did deserves a top tier rating.
I know Dane has a book but I just don’t know if I can bring myself to read it because of how much I dislike him already!
