The idea of the book is genius however the book that arrived – the clock is not working. Huge disappointment for us, as in times like now, when we are homeschooling it sounded like a very attractive idea and help with teaching. Rather sad experience.

Got this book as it looked really good with its timed worksheets. Comes with a little timer attached and 2 pencils. However I can get the minute and second buttons to work but I can’t get the timer button to work. Shame as the concept was really good. They can still be used as workout books but we have to use our own timer which sort of misses the point.

So disappointed, bought as a present for my daughter for her birthday. Bought well in advance so when we removed the plastic tag on the battery holder and realised the timer wasn’t working then it was past the eligible return window to get a refund or replacement. Faulty item and so not worth the £7.99 I paid.

Previously worked through the first stage blue book. Loced the layout and activity focused pages, good to develop skills in numeracy across the board. These tasks are short, perfect for revision. Could also use used as a home learning activity.

I really loved this book, my child enjoys it. People are going to complain if you don’t give instructions on how to get the timer working though. The battery has a slip of paper between the components, this has to removed before it will work. The slip on the four books I got was visible.
