This book will come in very handy for my nephews home work.

As a teacher of computer science to both primary and secondary-aged pupils I am frequently asked by parents to recommend books that will support their child’s understanding of the subject. I am excited to say that I have finally found a book that I would happily recommend to: students who want to learn more, parents who want to support their children or teachers who need to brush up on their computing/computer science subject knowledge. This book is comprehensive in its coverage, well-written, beautifully presented and overall, is accessible to all ages (7+), making it a fantastic resource for students in Key Stages 1-4.
This book is also a perfect accompaniment to:
Computer Coding for Kids: A Unique Step-by-Step Visual Guide, from Binary Code to Building Games
, which features an introduction to coding in Scratch and Python, as well as exploring several of the ‘big ideas’ in computer science – making it another useful resource for pupils in Key Stages 1-4!

I have the whole collection of these books they are very straight forward and easy to work through. It is very clear and accessible. I would recommend these for all ages as you can use the information for basic or detailed information. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to create lessons for their children during Covid-19. Also good for revisions and general knowledge

Great book, visually interesting. The book could also be titled “Kids, Help your Parents or Carers and Teachers with Computer Science”.
