Hidden in Plain Sight (William Warwick Novels Book 2)
£5.70
Filled with Jeffrey Archer’s trademark twists and turns, Hidden in Plain Sight is the gripping next instalment in the life of William Warwick.
Newly promoted, Detective Sergeant William Warwick has been reassigned to the drugs squad. His first case: to investigate a notorious south London drug lord known as the Viper.
But as William and his team close the net around a criminal network unlike any they have ever encountered, he is also faced with an old enemy, Miles Faulkner. It will take all of William’s cunning to devise a means to bring both men to justice, a trap neither will expect, one that is hidden in plain sight . . .
Hidden in Plain Sight follows on from Nothing Ventured and continues with Turn a Blind Eye, but can be read as a standalone story.

I’m hooked, this one, second in the series reacquaints us with William Warwick now a Detective Sergeant.
The book is fast paced and holds your attention, couple of threads running through both books so far, couple of twists.
Looking forward to the third.

Another ‘cannot put it down’ work of Jeffrey Archer just wish it was easier to load the next instalment to kindle

Jeffrey Archer has lost none of his story telling skills that draw you compulsively on to the next chapter and ultimately the next book, which is where my loyalty is tested.
Having read many of his books, from the first Not a Penny More, through Cain and Abel, and on to more recent creations, I feel that that William Warwick series has been rather cynically divided into more books than is necessary, and the cliffhanger ending of book 2 was rather too blatant a device to get you to buy the next book in the series

This instalment sees William Warwick promoted to a detective sergeant, with his promotion he is moved to another department in this case the drugs squad.
The area he is given means dealing with one of south London’s most notorious drug lords Aka Viper. His job is hard enough but in the background is his old nemesis from book one Miles Faulkner a slippery and wealthy character who appears well to do but beneath his outward appearance he is as crafty and as devious as they come. Then William finds himself in a situation where hidden in plain sight does not apply only to the criminals…. What will he do?….

Jeffrey Archer never fails to entertain with his clever twists and turns in the storyline. He is a master of suspenseful reading.
