Hide With Me (The Game Series Book 13)
£4.83
Don’t mind the sweet scent of waffles. That’s just little Gael breaking the resolves of two protective Daddies, one shy yet sinful bite at a time.
It’s no coincidence Gael Grimes is in Professor Aavik’s class. He’s had a crush on the professor since he first spotted the man in the kink community they’re both part of. According to Gael, Professor Aavik is just super dreamy! Distinguished, charismatic—a total silver fox. But when Gael’s ex-boyfriend ignores the restraining order against him and tries to reach out, another man steps out of the shadows, and Gael is suddenly at a loss for words and can’t describe the intense attraction.
Private investigator Joshua “Santiago” Jones has been keeping an eye on Gael for a while as a favor to a friend. Under different circumstances, he would’ve loved to get closer to Gael. The boy’s cuter than words, definitely on the Little spectrum, funny, smart…but this is work. The only reason Santiago has to get close now is to protect Gael from his stalker ex-boyfriend.

The Game Series is a BDSM series where romance meets the reality of kink. Sometimes we fall for someone we don’t match with, sometimes vanilla business gets in the way of kinky pleasure, and sometimes we have to compromise and push ourselves to overcome trauma and insecurities. No matter what, one thing is certain. This is not a perfect world—and maybe that’s why the happily ever after feels so good.

This was another great story from Cara Dee following Dean, Santiago and Gael who were introduced in previous books. It was nice to see such different characters in a relationship together and the details of the game events were slightly more toned down than in some of the previous stories which I personally preferred. Overall I would highly recommend to thise who have enjoyed other books from Cara Dee.

Overall I really love this series, and I did enjoy this book as well. There have been so many books now, and so many characters that I spent most of this book trying to remember who was who. I liked all three of the main characters, we’d met them all briefly before, especially Dean in the last book, and I liked getting to know them all a bit better.
Now like I said, I did enjoy this book, however, it didn’t feel very original, I think when you get to book 13 in a series it’s hard for it to still feel fresh, and this book felt a bit like a repeat of earlier books in the series, just with different characters. I also found the ‘game’ at the end of the book a bit boring (they’re normally my favourite part).
I still love this series overall (some books more than others) and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

No! its the last book in this fantastic series! This is Dean, Santiago and Gael story that we met in previous books. A great storyline that had me hooked from the beginning and it was great to have such different characters in a lovely daddyx2 plus boy relationship. Highly recommend the whole series.

Gael, Dean and Santiago are a fantastic addition to the House Mclean series! I loved all 3 of them as indiviuals, but they definitely shine the brightest together. As always, Cara Dee delivers on the humour, spice and emotion. This might no be my favorite of the House Mclean series, but everything Cara Dee writes is 5 star must read. Gael is adorable and I want to claim him!

I’ve been so looking forward to this book, Gael been in my mind for a while and I’m so glad to finally read his story and I just adore him and how much he came out of his shell with his Daddy and Master!
As a historian myself I do love our silver fox of a history professor and Caleb together for their history rants!
The group play was once again portrayed so excellently and I just adore the members of Mclean for being so loveable and perfect towards each other. They truly are a big family of kinksters.
Plus you had me with General the cat – just a way to a girls heart.
I’m anxious to find out what happened with Lucian! I can’t wait for more and I look forward to the next instalment to the Game Series!

The Game series just keeps on getting better and better with every story told – I truly don’t think I’ll ever get enough of this world and the men (and women!) Cara writes! But her cliffhangers just about give me palpitations! My heart is aching to make sure Master Lucian is ok!!

This throuple might just be my new favourite set of characters from Cara!
I absolutely adored everything about this story – from the painfully shy Gael, who’d suffered some serious confidence abuse from his ex-stalker boyfriend which had seen him questioning everything about himself, to the strong desire to service justice of Joshua Santiago Jones, through to the slow breaking down of the walls he’d established by Professor Dean Aavik – it all just worked for me.
It’s a pretty swoony romance too, from the moment Santiago meets Gael, he has a need to look after him, his Daddy tendencies coming out in full force. But he’s also been dancing around the edges with Dean for years too. So when they meet again, after a four year gap, and discover they’re both single, it gives Santiago a possible future he’s been hoping for.
All three men are interested in protected group play, Gael’s never had the chance to explore his kinks, other than he knows he wants some sort of domestic servitude and he needs a Daddy – or two!
I loved the way Cara built up the relationship between the three men by playing on each of their strengths to encourage the others and the way there’s no prevarication. Santiago lays it out with both men what he wants and what he hopes they can have together.
We get to see them slowly build up the trust needed to be in a complicated (on paper) relationship and then the ease with which they slide into one when they’re forced to move to McLean House when Gael’s stalker ex shows up again.
No plot spoilers here, but I’ll just say Cara’s The Game series is a favourite of mine for the multitude of ways she manages to write about kink and BDSM without ever making it feel boring or overdone.
This book is a perfect blend of sweet and heat.
