That’s exactly why I came to Vegas. To not be seen. I figured with all the flashing lights,
alcohol, drugs, people… no one would notice me.
But he did. And I don’t know how to get him to unsee me. Or if I even want him to.
This city was supposed to be my sanctuary, a place to forget who I am. Or should I say who I
was? A place to let go of the past. A place no one would ever think to look for me.

Another great insta-love quick read from Kylie Kent. I love how the men she writes are absolutely OBSESSED with their FMCs, and Louie is no different. The minute his eyes fall upon Charlotte he knows there is something about her. Charlotte is hiding away in Vegas after she catches her Fiancé cheating on her the night before their wedding. Wallowing in self pity she did not expect to garner the attention of the most revered man in Vegas.
Charlotte and Louie have a whirlwind romance that includes a scumbag ex, banter with friends- I adored Carlo,Sammie and Emmanuel, and also some violence, unaliving and a trip to the hospital. It’s jam packed but an well rounded quick read.
Can’t wait for the rest of the series!

The queen of mafia just keeps them coming.
I mean seriously, you pick up His Kingdom and you’re sucked into a new world! You need more of the main characters , more of the detail and damn the storyline keeps you on the edge.
You know the book is good when you are squealing and sending messages demanding answers even though you can have them in a few pages.
Nevermind the actual body / mind response.
I have freaked out, got goosebumps, melted into a pile of goo, got frustrated, felt my heart break and warm for the characters, wanted to hurt someone, wanted vidication and my temp raised in ALL the right ways during this story…
Include the perfection and couple goals. Add in twists that you knew were gonna come at some point and yet still shock you… Yup this book has me by the throat and I.am.here.for.it!! I’m gonna have to read it again, own it in multiple and beg for book 2 ASAP…I mean come on who wouldn’t after those Easter eggs… More please Mrs Kent! More!

Brilliant start to a brand new series! I love all Kylie’s work and was sad at first that a new series was coming when I love all her existing, but how wrong was I to doubt the queen of romance and mafia.
Loved this start to what is undoubtedly going to be another hot series where we are begging for more from these characters.
Louie is the dangerous casino owner with a tragic past and Charlotte the beautiful southern belle who quickly draws in the jaded playboy
All in all a great opener to what’s going to be another hot series amazing series

Louie is an amazing, possessive, dedicated man to the woman who turns his world upside-down and Charlotte finds everything she didn’t know she was looking for in the wake of the betrayal

Absolutely incredible read! Didn’t take me long to absolutely devour this book. Not only did it get released early but it’s so worth the wait. I cannot wait for the next book. I laughed and cried! Thank you for another wonderful read Kylie!
