This book is American and is aimed at that community. If in the uk there are better.

I agree with the previous review in that this book is really targetted at Americans, and in my opinion is quite irrelevant to those in the UK. It refers to animals as ‘critters’ throughout …. There are a few nuggets of useful information but they’re few and far between. I’ve since come across much better books for those interested in setting up a smallholding in Britain.

Very well written, enjoyable book. One problem was that the web sites and local laws etc are American based so not very useful for UK based people. BUT a very good read
