I knew Gordon Ramsay, but never heard of her before coming in England ( i’m french ), and to be honest her recipes are so much better than gordon’s , hers are easy recipes that will make the whole family happy!

I’ve always liked Tana’s cookbooks, as they’ve added lots of new meals the regular dinner rota. But this new one is great for having a bit more grown-up food. I suppose that with her own kids, they’ve started eating a bit more of an adventurous menu, but whatever the cause, we like it.

Love the cover, too. Really different and pretty.

I made a few recipes from this book and I actually think some of the instructions are wrong! the cheesecake – 3 attempts and all 3 came out terrible – disgusting in fact.

Well, after all the good reviews, I’m sorry to say that in my opinion this book is a bit of a stinker!

I like to think that I am at least a competent cook and can follow a recipe, but the ones in this book just don’t turn out that well. Another annoying factor is that the recipe quantities often don’t fit the suggested size of disg, etc, stated (and I don’t think that that has anything to do with my cooking!

In my view a poor buy – meals in the Ramsay household must be interesting. Given the relatively few pictures, it does beg the question as to how many recipes were ‘tested’ for this book.

One final thing – don’t attempt these recipes if you are a novice, they leave too much important information out.

Love this book, first borrowed it from the library but had to own a copy. Lovely simply recipes with ingredients that you will have in your cupboard but if you don’t not too expensive. Simple instructions and not complicated, great for a day at work to cook a great evening meal.

To the despair of my husband, I have bought yet another cookbook but this one is worth his ire as it helps to keep me up to date with good modern,family-friendly recipes. I like Tana Ramsey’s style and approach and her recipe for Cabbage, apple and pork chop en papillote is very good. The book is well produced with good quality paper and photographs.
