This is a great book. It includes step-by-step breakdowns on how to draw your favourite anime characters like Goku and Astro Boy as well as small sections on important details like drawing eyes and facial expressions. Perfect for the beginner artist.

Will this book help you become good at drawing….I dont know……but kids love learning and reading it…so its money well spent.

The content in this book is ok, but it is extremely short at only 29 pages. The tips it gives for drawing are useful but lack detail. More importantly, it claims to show you how to draw a series of well known manga characters but it doesn’t tell you that it only shows you how to draw their heads and shoulders. This makes the book totally useless if you want to learn to draw full figure drawings, which is certainly what you would expect from a “learn how to draw your favourite characters” book. In additon, the print quality is poor and the paper is the sort of cheap copy paper you might find in an office photocopier.
I bought this book for a Christmas present and the short length, lack of colour pictures and general poor print quality makes it look and feel like a cheap gift. This is certainly not worth the money.
