Bought as a Christmas present for my ten year-old grandson who is not normally keen on reading – but he loves reading this and says it is very helpful for improving skills! He likes the clear text and the many illustrations.

Liked: Information of well known players
Dislike: Expected more advice on skills & tricks to learn how to execute on the pitch.

If you’re looking for a book to teach your young child the basics of football, look no further than How To…Football: A Step-by-Step Guide to Mastering Your Skills. This excellent book does an amazing job of breaking down the game into simple, easy-to-understand concepts that even a three year old can follow along with. My seven year old son loved it, and picked up a lot of new information from it. Highly recommend for any young football fan in your life!

I brought this for my boys. Who having found a passion for football recently I thought this may help them improve their understanding of playing the game. The book is great. It’s more tlmy kids read it once and then it’s not been touched since. Although my youngest is picking it up again recently. Having read the content it has some very good starting tips. The foundation to build on in each chapter
