There’s no colour photos only black and white which are not clear!

Would not recommend this book.

Having a small garden and not having done much in the way of growing crops in pots and containers this book was excellent at explaining what a beginner should do to grow bountiful, pest-free, organic crops.
I don’t like the use of chemical pesticides on my food, so it was very useful for Luke to provide a
non-toxic pesticide recipe to make at home.
The book covers a wealth of knowledge that Luke has accumulated in his decades of gardening and he provides interesting personal stories alongside valuable tips and techniques to get the most from growing in pots and containers. I especially liked his home-made potting mix recipe, planting from food scraps (I tried this with some spring onion (scallion) heads and they amazingly grew back, I will also try with other veggies that Luke recommends!), advice on companion planting, succession planting and lots of detailed information on how to store all the crops you grow (canning, pickling, blanching & freezing, pressure cooker, dehydration etc).
It was a worthwhile read and I will be referring back to the book to remind myself of all the container gardening tips. Thanks, Luke for a great read.
