Not quite what I needed, probably my fault, very basic for kids

Wanted as a gift for a young relative who enjoyed watching a teenage rugby game but did not understand basic rules . Very disappointing as contained very little of use – no rules or player roles/positions, or even simple diagrams, or scoring. Very poorly written in some sections rendering even the limited information very difficult to understand. Includes a chapter list with page numbers, but pages are not numbered. Definately not recommended.

My mum wanted an easy read rugby rule book so after searching I came across this 5 star rule book. So thought ok I’ll buy it for her. Wow after reading it myself I actually thought it was a joke book. It’s poorly written, not factual and looks like a it was put together as a pamphlet. Honestly i think the author (no disrespect) should look at the union rules himself. As an ex rugby player myself I did have a chuckle at it.

It took 15 minutwa to read this entire book and I guess that’s longer than it took to write!
The book is completely useless to anyone – nothing about the history of the game – the playing positions and roles – tactics or rules of the game. And then to charge £^.00 is an insult. I would send it back, but that would cost me another £3.00 plus.
Do NOT be fooled into buying thia book – just throwthe money on the bonfire next week!
