This book may be small and compact in size, but it certainly is packed full of incredible tips and tricks for managing stress in so many different situations. I really love the tips about connecting with your body and how important music can be in helping to manage stress – as this is something I have found really helpful.

This would be perfect for anyone who ever has had those moments of stress and really doesn’t know what to do to help themselves manage these moments in a more positive way.

As a therapist, I often work with clients who experience stress, at different levels and for different reasons.
This book does a great job of succinctly explaining the 5 F’s, which I have enjoyed using in sessions.
I find it a really useful tool and notice how much it opens up the conversation and self reflection for my clients.
The remainder of the book is great in offering tips and the space to investigate and process our stress responses.

Stress is something we are getting better at talking about but there’s still taboo. This book is well written, accessible and helpful. I like the way different types of stress are discussed in a factual way without sensationalising anything. Practical tips are always good too, and not patronising.
