I absolutely love this book. Having published my first self-help book five years ago, I needed clarity about how to produce something much better this time round. This book guides you clearly through the steps you need to take to firm up and test your ideas and to produce a book that genuinely serves your readers. I’m not done yet, but I am so excited at the speed with which I’m getting clear, and really feeling motivated, at last, to get moving. Thank you.

Publishing a book is hard and a competitive field. This book shows you how to cut through the tedious process that getting your book out there can be. I’m nearly at the end of it, and I wish that I had found this book the first time around. It’s well written, full of great advice and worth every penny. If you’re looking to write and publish a book without reading all the unnecessary information and guidance this is the book for you.

Wow, so how often do you come across a book that is a real guide to help your dreams come true! I like so many of us have always had the dream of being able to write a book about the topic I’m passionate about, however soon realised that as is usual in many fields in life there are methods that take specialist knowledge and expertise to see that dream become a reality! Lucy and Joe’s book is not only laid out with the structure of an amazing route-map, the language they use gives complete clarity to the process and has you feel that they are guiding you every step of the way! I feel that I now have the confidence and the competence to have my book successfully published next spring, thank you Lucy and Joe!

The best thing about this book is that the authors clearly practice what they preach. Having originally bought this after reading Daniel Priestley’s key person of influence method I think this is a great follow up book for anyone taking on the task of writing. It’s a quick read, cover-to-cover in one sitting but the framework is invaluable so i will be dipping back into the book over the next 6 months.
The only criticism was that the book itself isn’t truly inspirational, it’s more in the how-to genre so do be aware of that if you are expecting a motivational read (IMHO Key Person of Influence is way better for this). However, if you need something practical to guide your writing process you’d do very well to invest in this book. Added to EntreprenuerBooksClub

I always knew that I wanted to write a book but was daunted at the task of planning it, writing it and finally would anyone actually read it?
After reading Write Your Book everything just seemed to fall into place. It helped me formulate my ideas into a well organised synopsis before embarking on the writing challenge. Lucy’s sound publishing and editing background meant my final manuscript was succinct and punchy. Combine that with Joe’s extraordinary business background, which is invaluable for anyone writing non-fiction and business related content.
I am now published and immensely proud of what Lucy and Joe have helped me to create.
Their book, How to Write Your Book Without the Fuss, definitely works as it is essentially their tried and tested system for helping budding authors get through all of the blocks which they are likely to experience during the writing process.
The book itself is naturally well laid out and good formatting which draws you into the tips Lucy provides throughout the book.
I can thoroughly recommend that this is the last book your read before starting to write your own book, and guaranteed you will do so after reading it!

A very useful guide to getting the idea, developing it, refining it, writing the content and eventually publishing your book!

Some excellent insights and a clear plan of action I can use. Well worth the time to read and act upon.
There are several typos which should never have slipped through in a book on this subject. However, it didnt detract from the overall read or the value gained.
