This book was a revelation in emotions and is summed up in an iconic line from the film ’10 things I hate about you’ – “But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you. Trying to make herself hate him doesn’t seem to work and when they end up sat together in a class, emotions take over. Can they move on from the past? Can they be honest and open up more? So this was my third book from Isla Madden-Mills and I couldn’t – just couldn’t put it down! I love how sassy Charm acts, yet deep inside pretty insecure and I LOVE Blaze – arched brow with cockiness, the smile that makes you weak, but an antsy guy with thoughts all over the place, while tapping his hand on his leg … the heat between them two is incredible and you’re eating every freaking word written in that book. I must say the first two books were flipping amazing, but – hands down – this one so far is my definite favourite! Can’t wait to read the last one from these series. My new favourite writer for sure!!????

I loved every moment of this story. It had everything I look for in a romance, I loved the love/hate trope, the angst, the banter, the delicious spicy scenes – everything.
It was impossible not to fall in love with Blaze and Charisma. I just felt such a connection with them both.
Blaze has been alone all his life, no one has ever loved him, and while he longs for love, he’s also scared to death of it.
Charisma is also wary of opening her heart, so while this pair clearly fall hard their defences are so high the resulting conflict is expected. The angst and butterflies from watching them slowly come to terms with their feelings and allowing their defences to fall are worth every moment of frustration when they bicker and lash out to protect themselves.
I devoured this book and I would read it again.

This was a wonderful addition to the hook up series and I loved Charisma and Blaze’s book from the first page to the last I was in the moment with them.
Charisma Rossi has been studying at Waylon University originally from the Bronx, she is not used to not speaking her mind but after a very public break up with the star wide receiver of the Waylon Wildcats last fall she has lost her mojo, but this semester her last semester she is determined that she going to make the most of her time left at university and she is not about to let Blaze Townsend ruin anything anymore. But one look at him and she knows that everything she has been telling herself has been lies, he still affects her body in a way that she has never felt before wanting to break all her rules. Trying to convince herself that she hates him but willing to try to be friends but can she truly hide the way she feels or will she give into the love she really feels?
Blaze Townsend the star wide receiver for the Waylon wildcats and all round ladies man wasn’t prepared for sassy and smart Charisma Rossi but she stomped into his life and all of a sudden his thoughts were consumed by the woman when he should have been focused solely on his football career, deciding to end things it’s not long before he realises his mistake but now she hates him, can he show her that they can be something special or is he destined to be what everyone has always made him think nothing to anyone?
I really do love this series and enjoy this writers work, this book had everything I look for in a sports romance and these two characters had a lot of depth and issues with themselves to work through together and apart. Highly recommended read and hoping the next book isn’t too far away.

Another great book in this series. Just love Blaze, I loved all the feel good factors,the passion & lust & love. I Did wish they would hurry up & get to gether near the end but def worth a read ????????????

This is a lovely story about two people whose lives have been affected by their parents problems. Neither of them can trust love and when they meet Charisma has sex with the handsome wide receiver Blaze and then tells him to leave. She has rules to keep her safe, she doesnt allow kissing and they are not allowed to stay over once the deed is done. Blaze is one cocky handsome athlete, he has the girls flocking to be in his bed but after sleeping with Charisma several times he has to dump her because she stirs something in him only when he does it he humiliates her. Charisma feels her heart breaking. He deliberately makes sure she sees him with someone else and it hurts but he still wants her. Its got some funny one liners in that make you laugh and also some really sentimental ones that are really lovely. great read for a college story.

I Hate You was so good, and so unexpected, I didn’t expect this story to be so full of emotion. It was the perfect enemies to lovers story.
Blaze hasn’t had an easy life, and all he’s every cared about is football, until Charisma, being with her makes him want more out of life, something that throws him. Charisma doesn’t think love is for her, she’s seen how it’s broken the people around her.
Both Blaze & Charisma have plenty of insecurities and doubts, about themselves. But together their chemistry is off the charts hot, when they finally get their HEA, it will definitely leave you with a smile on your face.
