It’s a book so ,I either read and enjoy or I am baffled.
by colm delaney
Scatterbrained approach with numerous concepts taken for granted by the (unknown) author – eg what does clean up mean ? Why is the fly half called the opener? An index or brief tabulation of the rules would help. Did no one proof read this ? At one point it refers “ ….I forgot to mention some key players …”
On page 22 it states that the opposing team must stand on their goal line waiting for the (conversion ) kick. It omits to say that the kicker can be charged down by a player once he makes a forward movement to take the kick. France lost 2 points in the recent World Cup to this so it is important as they lost the match by one point. All in all very poor.
