Serena has been through so much in those three years and when she is assigned by the paper she works for to write about him, she tries to guard her heart. Spending time together they become close! What happens when secrets are revealed? How do they move on? Can they overcome the fears they both have? This was such a fantastic read, full of humour, angst and emotion. The chemistry between the characters was hot enough to burn the pages! Can’t wait for Ilsa’s next book

A new author for me but boy I was not disappointed! The artistry in the words really captivated me it felt like the book was playing out in my head like a movie, all concept of time was lost as I discovered when I checked my clock and realised I had read until the early hours of the morning “Alexa play I’ll sleep when I’m dead”! The characters felt real and human, I had unexpected laugh out loud moments and moments when I was choking back tears, would I read another book by this author HELL YES! In fact I am hunting for my next book now …. so don’t have time for reviews ????

I really enjoyed this last book in the series and flew through it.
I adored Dillon and Serena. They both had a detailed and believable backstory but they both work hard to overcome the fallout of their past. They have both flaws but it just makes them relatable and human.
The secondary characters, like Serena’s quirky family and Dillon’s friends, also brought warmth and humour to the story.

The minute I started reading this I was completely invested in their story.
Dillon and Serena first meet at the famous Waylon University Bonfire, it only takes Dillon minutes to know there is something special about Serena, his Dandelion but timing wasn’t right for them.
Three years later after a chance encounter timing might just be on their side.
Dillon and Serena both have trust issues, been hurt and have both lost people they love.
The attraction between the two of them can’t be denied, their chemistry is enough to light the bonfire!
Their story has so much emotion! One minute I was laugh out loud, the next minute I had tears in my eyes.

When I started reading this book I wasn’t sure due to Serena talking to the items on the shelf and the traditions they had with the bonfire. However, I continued reading as I always like to give a book a fair chance.
Once I was passed chapter two I started to understand the characters and where this book was going. I really enjoyed the storyline of Serena having a complicated pass and Dillion trying to adjust to his new future and demands on him.
It is 100% worth reading and I couldn’t put the book down. One of those you end up reading into the early hours of the night hoping to find out what happens next!

Fab read if you like romance at its best with a sexy quarterback and a lovely lady who doesnt know her worth. Dillon first meets Serena at a bonfire and there is a curse that all the football players know not to kiss anyone on that night. See other books in the series to know more. She radiates loveliness and he manages to get a kiss that has him reeling and then she runs off. When they finally meet again a few years later he knows its her straight away even though its a masquerade party. It overwhelms him as he has looked for her forever. Dillon is hounded by the women but he only sees Serena. There are some funny moments especially when he has never had to try before and when he shows her his vulnerability you have to sigh. They are made for each other.

I devoured Dillon and Serena’s story and fell in love hard with both characters. Their past, their pain, their hope… their LOVE… I FELT IT ALL!!
I got so engrossed in the story my emotions were all over the place.
Dillon’s family is his team and his one love is Football, until he kisses the mysterious girl at a bonfire night.
Despite appearances, Dillon is not just the cocky , sexy and hot quarterback he is more than that… his vulnerability was so endearing , I wanted to give him a big hug!
Serena has made mistakes in her past and refuse to let those define her future. She now cares for Romy and her nana- NANA IS THE BEST , I love her!!
When she starts to hang out with Dillon “ the Lacrosse” player , she swears to herself that it’ll be professional between them- she is just writing an article for the gazette! However the more she gets to know the real him the more attracted to him she is… Can she let her guard down and follow her heart?

Ilsa’s books have always grabbed me. I Don’t need to read reviews, I know they’ll be right up my street ..at first glance, It’s a College football romance. Read tons of them. However, Ilsa’s have that ‘extra something’ which keeps you gripped. Humour, love, angst, hotness???? feisty women, family, good friends. Everything to make a great read. Dillon and Serena, swoon. As with all the Waylon books, the meeting at The Bonfire is key to the story.. I couldn’t put it down. Please don’t end them here. I can see books about Romy, Julian even Vane Serena’s ex, I don’t think he was bad, just young an dumb, caught up in the Rockstar life.. Anyway, Ilsa has plenty people to keep us entertained. Please????
