This is a pocket sized book of inspiration and a great gift! It features a number of female athletes from all sports and across the ages with a brief description of their ‘super power’ and what they have achieved. It’s a lovely dose of positivity!

The only reason I didn’t give this five stars was by the heading “her superpowers” to briefly describe their area of sport. I felt this didn’t sit well as the whole point of the book is to take inspiration (I think) from the achievement of others. Superpowers makes it sound more out of reach and fictional, tho maybe that’s just me! I loved the stories, achievements and quotes tho

A lovely book that needed to be written. Perfect for anyone interested in sport or young women looking for role models. A lovely little book.

I love the way this book is laid out – it is succinct yet full of facts. Inspiring to read and share a without being overloaded. And I learnt about inspiring women I’d not heard of – working in a school means this is really useful as well.

This book is made up of short stories of female super heroes and what their superpower is. It is great for reading to my daughter as the stories are short enough to maintain her attention. I love the concept of reading her stories about inspirational women and in sport.
