Lovely book with sympathetic illustrations. The stories have similarities to some other traditional tales but my son has really enjoyed these. There’s lots of scope for discussion too.
I’ve read these stories to my 6 year old. He wouldn’t be able to read these himself at all. The language is very descriptive, using some difficult or old fashioned words. However this is great as a discussion tool.

Wanted to introduce our kids to some classic Chinese stories, thought it would be different to the usual stuff they currently read.
The kids have enjoyed the stories and illustrations. There’s quite a few different stories and the quality of the print is quite nice. All in all, worth the money.
