Exceptionally well researched and very interesting subject matter .However the constant cramming of Political Correctness down the readers throat makes me want to vomit. Yes,some of the early adverts are so crass, they are truly unbelievable, but seeing a kid in a football strip adopting the familiar footballers pose, foot on football, arms crossed, green grass in the background, being construed as an icon of Imperialism is surely indicative of the author having a chip on their shoulder.Such a pity, they didn’t need to resort to this.
