Hello Callahan Hastings!!!! Whats not to love about the story, i loved every moment. If you loved Kat’s Black Ties series you’ll love this new series set in the Hampton’s. No one does brothers ex as well as Kat and this book had the heat you would expect and let me tell you i need to go and find me a Cal. I loved Lucy the moment we meet her and that she stood up to Cal after they re-meet. Lucy had been through so much and i just loved her so much. These two together were like dynamite and what a mouth Cal has. We get some cameos that just were perfect and i think i know who book 2 will be about and i can’t wait for that. An amazing start to a series.

This book was chef’s kiss 💋 Ahh!!! I just loved it, I won’t say much because nobody wants spoilers but OH MY GOSH!!!

Kat has done it again, wrote a fantastic book!!

Cal & Lucy were everything! This book was fun, had summer vibes that were amazing, if had a little found family element, it was spicy and yet romantic at the same.

It was perfectly balanced and well written, I loved seeing characters pop up from her black tie billionaires series!!

But the new characters of this series took centre stage, cal and Lucy were great main characters! And I loved all the new characters there were introduce in this book too!! And I can’t wait to see who might get their own book in the future maybe ?? 🥰

All around a fantastic start to a new series!! A great summer read 🩷💋🩷 I’m super excited to see where the next book goes!!!

Cal and Lucy certainly were fire together. They had such insane chemistry, and Cal was certainly a boy obsessed. There was literally nothing he wouldn’t have done for her.
The duet narration of Connor and Erin definitely helped draw me into the story. It was so beautiful. It brought a new edge to the story.

I think I’ll read even more audio and ebooks at the same time.

So incredibly cute!! Cal and Lucy are the epitome of cute romance. If you’re looking for a sweet, heartfelt, steamy romance that also has an emotional side then this is for you!

Kat’s writing as always is fantastic. She always manages to give us memorable MMCs who give us all we could ever want with their swoony personalities and filthy mouths and Cal is no exception. The way he falls for Lucy is irrevocable. He is so closed off and cold with others but with Lucy he couldn’t be more opposite if he tried! I loved seeing his soft side reveal and him becoming a simpering mess of a man for her!

Lucy had never had the finer things in life offered to her as freely as Cal gives them, so seeing her struggle to accept not only gifts, but sometimes his willingness to give her unfiltered time, was hard. But I loved seeing her open up to him, accept his love language of spoiling her in all ways and really accepting that it’s ok to lean on someone else when you need them. It was beautiful to see that connection deepen for them.

I really enjoyed this opener to the Pembroke Hills series! Definitely looking forward to Jude’s book because I loved his playful nature versus Charlotte’s brutally honest approach – those two will be an absolute riot!

Such a sweet read from Kat Singleton, just what my heart n soul needed. The Hamptons vibe, billionaire vibe , ex’s older brother trope and a chef who is cute as a button . This book had it all and i thoroughly enjoyed every second of reading it. Cal and Lucy are so stinking cute. I can’t wait for the rest of the series .

I absolutely LOVED this book. I was completely enamored by this storyline and these characters. After the Black Tie Billionaires series, I wasn’t sure another billionaire could win over my heart in quite the same way, but Cal (in true Cal fashion) was not having any of that and refused to come in any place except first. 🥰 His charm, his commanding presence completely took me by surprise. After the first “good girl” (which arrives on page 34, mind you), I was done for. He is stubborn and used to getting his way, but somehow, he still only ever wants what’s best for Lucy, and I think that’s what draws me to him. He knows she can take care of herself, but he wants to show his feelings for her by doing things for her and buying her things that she never would have bought for herself. He zeroes in on her lack of self-focus and care and makes it his mission to make her feel special and valued.

Lucy is such a relatable character. She feels the pressure from her family to take over the family business, and although that’s not her dream, she loves her parents too much to say no. She’s living in the moment and enjoying her summer to splurge on her own dreams and have a taste of what it’s like to live the life she wants to live before her responsibilities bring her back home. It’s bittersweet and heartbreaking.

This book was even better than I had even hoped it would be. Kat Singleton is so incredibly good at writing swoony billionaires, and she has a way of making them feel approachable that drags you into their world whether you’ve lived in it, adjacent to it or far from it. This new Pembroke Hills series is going to be so much fun to explore, and I can’t wait to see which couple’s book is coming next!

In Good Company is book 1 in the Pembroke Hills series and it’s Lucy and Callahan’s story. It was a spicy, slightly forbidden romance as Cal is the older brother of Lucy’s ex.

The chemistry between these two was undeniable from the start. I loved their interactions and banter and loved how well they fit together. Cal fell fast and hard but we did have to wait for Lucy to catch up.

Both their best friends were fun addition to the story providing great humor when needed and I loved the friends group and how well everyone mingled.

However the third act breakup was a miss for me and the entire setup annoyed me.

This was a good start to the series and was a fun summer read. I would recommend this novel to lovers of billionaire romance.

Erin Mallon and Connor Crais did an exceptional job narrating this novel. They brought the story to life, giving each characters their own personality. They made the listening experience an enjoyable one.

Another great romance from this author, her stories are full of that moment her characters start to fall in love. Then fall even deeper.
    Duet narration was amazing.

Lucy is working as a waitress in The Pembroke Hills country club and as a side, also a private chef for the club members. It is at one of the private dinners that she meets Callahan. Callahan remembers Lucy from when she dated his younger brother. He is so impressed with the food that she did for the dinner party that he persuades her to become his private chef. Hence begins their emotional journey.

CALLAHAN HASTINGS. I mean, OMG – immediately my new favourite Kat man (sorry Beck 🤣) Being called Lucy every time he said “Lucy baby” I melted into a puddle onto the floor – the mouth on this man holy crap 🙌

The way they held off for so long but when they exploded fireworks went off and there are so many spicy chapters that I can’t pick a favourite and I love them all equally 🩷

I also loved all the little cameos and teasers for the rest of the series (so many of my favourite tropes coming 😱)

Immediate five star read and I would recommend this book so much!

I fell sooo hard for Lucy & Cal 💖 Their characters, their chemistry, their banter, and just about everything in between!! I still had a bit of a book hangover after the Black-Ties series ended, but visiting Pembroke Hills was exactly what I needed to remedy it!

Callahan Hastings, the broody billionaire, who also happens to be the older brother to Lucy’s ex boyfriend… Dare I say “SCANDALOUS” 🤭

Cal was just pure perfection!! I loved the connection between him and Lucy. The way he showered her with gifts and adorned her with such unwavering affection, as well as a few other things that went down (pun intended 😏) He was entirely swoon worthy! ❤️

Lucy to me was such a ray of sunshine. Her warm, caring nature and selflessness present throughout the book. She’s the type of person who wouldn’t even hesitate to put the needs of her loved ones above herself

I found Lucy’s character to be very relatable, as she too thrives on her independence, and is usually unwilling to accept help from others, and I loved how Cal helped her realise that it was actually okay to put herself first one in a while, and that she could always lean on him and others for support should she ever need it

I was also great to see a few cameos from some of our fav Black Ties couples! I’m so excited for the side characters and for what else is coming next in the Pembroke Hills series!! <3

    Tropes include:

    💖 Forbidden Romance
    💚 Ex-Boyfriend’s Brother
    💖 Boss x Private Chef
    💚 Billionaire

Huge thanks to Kat for the readers copy! x
