I was a little surprised at the concise size of this lovely book but ‘small things etc’..

Nice compact size. Recipes look easy and tasty. Didn’t give 5 stars as not tried recipes yet

This has good decent recipes for various pasta dishes. Quite handy if you fancy something different.

I bought this book on a whim, as I follow Jamie Oliver on Instagram. I can honestly say that as far as homemade pasta goes, the recipe in this book is the best one ever. I don’t want to give away the secrets of the book, but the addition of semolina is definitely the secret of perfect pasta. I am always using my pasta machine thanks to this book and I have become pretty good at it, if I do say so. I’ve even tried my hand at tortellini. The recipes simple, but are to die for. I have tried several, including the carbonara, ragu and quite a few others. It is such an unassuming little book, but you can tell how good it is by the fact that it is covered in flour and some of the pages are stuck together from how often I use it. If you love homemade pasta dishes, just buy it! You won’t regret it!

would like to see some other options in the book

Generally if you’ve seen one pasta cookbook, you’ve seen them all, but veteran chef Gennaro Contaldo manages to bring some fresh ideas, helpfully laid out so you can always ensure you’re using seasonal produce to enjoy the recipes at their best.
My only gripe is that there’s no way the recipe for the basic pasta dough serves as many as it claims to, but maybe that’s just me being gluttonous! All in all a good book with some interesting new perspective.
