I have purchased numerous second hand cookery books on Amazon over the years and now have a good selection at a fraction of the new price. Most of them I could not afford or justify at full price.

Perfect xmas gift fab ideas
by Paul Richards
Bought for the Mrs. She loves it. I have tried cooking a couple of dishes and to be honest they were pretty easy to cook and tasted very good. If you’ve bought any other Jamie Oliver book its more of the same thing, not that that is a bad thing though!

Good recipe book full of inviting meals
by Leah
I purchased this book as a Christmas gift for my brother-in-law. Of course he hasn’t received it yet, but as a cook/baker myself and a fan of Jamie’s show, I knew this book wouldn’t disappoint. The recipes seem different enough from what he usually cooks, but still easy to make and prepare too. There are also a few vegan and vegetarian recipes in the book and as a vegan myself this made me happy, as he now has no excuse not to invite me over the next time the family get together 😉

Great recipes easy to read and cook
by Elizabeth Szolin-Jones
I pre-ordered this book as I usually love Jamie’s cookbooks. It arrived today and at a first glance was just as good as any other, but upon reading it more throuoghly I realised that several of the dishes have appeared before in other books, and I didn’t think there were any new terribly exciting recipes. It felt very “same-y”.
To summarise, if you don’t have many of his books it’s a nice book with good recipes. For a more die-hard collector like myself it was a bit disappointing.
