The Juliet Journal is the reason I started scrapbooking after seeing her videos online and found something that I love to do, so when I saw this lovely lady had a book coming out, I had it on pre order right away. The intro is short and sweet, dedicating the majority of the book to beautiful images, in separate categories to make it nice and easy to find what you’re looking for. The images are high quality and inspiring – I have so many ideas for my next scrapbooking session that I can’t wait to get stuck in!
My only criticism is that the entire book is cut outs – I have had it on pre order for so long I don’t think the description was fully done, but I thought it contained stickers as well and was disappointed it didn’t. Some of the designs are going to be very tricky to cut out for someone like me, who struggles with very precise cut outs (see the floral page picture I have added – these would have been gorgeous stickers but are going to require careful cutting out which I personally find stressful). I also don’t own a craft knife and cutting mat, so now I’ve got to buy those which means I’ve got to wait to use the book as well as an additional cost.
However, it’s a minor issue and doesn’t take away from a beautifully organised collection of images that I can’t wait to use. Congratulations to Juliet on this collection and thank you for inspiring me into this wonderful new hobby.
