Nice read, not the best book I have ever read but enjoyed the story and characters, I am hoping that they make this a series as I would like to see how the heroine gets on.

It started by reminding me of John Grisham novels and I was waiting for his style of courtroom drama with racial problems in the town. The 2 part story goes thru the usual jury selection tactics and the rookie lawyer feeling insecure especially when her client, accused of murder, isn’t impressed with her. Help does arrive and things get better though the prosecuting attorney throws a few difficulties her way. You need to stick with it if you’re thinking it’s all going pear shaped as 2 crimes are solved by the end. I think I’d read another if they make a series of this character just to see if it gets better. There’s a bit of “romance” with the owner of the diner that might go somewhere. Sorry I haven’t given lots of details as I don’t want to ruin it by giving away the ending.

Not as good as a lot of the books written only by James Patterson. Steady read with an unsurprising end.

I seem to be getting addicted to these legal thrillers set in the USA South and where the underdog female lawyer pulls out all the stops to make her case.
Juror 3 is an easy read which focuses on 2 separate court cases where Ruby Bozarth (a new and quite inexperienced lawyer) where Juror number three plays a significant part in the outcome of a murder case.
There’s a nice balance between Ruby’s personal life and her professional life and although I enjoyed it, it didn’t stretch my cerebral muscles too much.
My summation would be – a good read for a plane journey – not too taxing yet entertaining enough to keep me engaged.

It was at a good pace and a good story…
You’ll enjoy this if you like James’ books…

This is really two stories coupled together with no links except a vain attempt with a short sentence at the end to try and justify some sort of link – which was so obvious it didn’t work. The first story relating to Juror No 3 was good, but rushed at the end and disappointed that it ended half way through the book. The second story related to a different case and was not so good.
