Just Playin’: Age-Gap Romantic Sports Comedy (Ballsy Boys Book 1)

£3.80

Presley ‘Elvis’ Carlton was at the top of his game. Number one draft pick, engaged to an up-and-coming model, and voted best player of the decade his first year on the field.

Things were golden. . . until an accident saw everything important torn from his grasp.

He’s determined to get his life back, though, and with a strict regime, and no time for a life outside of the game, the last thing he wants is the attention of a curvy college student whose only motto in life is to not take it too seriously. Can an Australian expat show the struggling sports star there’s more to life than the next win? Or has Willow Underwood chewed off a chunk of man-meat too thick for her to swallow?

Just Playin’ is a standalone sports romance RomCom that will give you all the feels. It has sexy scenes and several laugh-out-loud moments. This is not tied to any of my other books, and can be enjoyed by itself. AKA: No cliffhangers!

This is a funny romance read that I didn’t want to finish!

I absolutely love the characters and the journey that they went on. Sports romances like this keep you interested and invested – Elvis and Willow’s story is no different!

Now I just want more! No cliffhanger and just a fun, feel good read!

I enjoyed this read. Good story about chance meet up between an NFL star and a ballerina. It got a little long at times and probably could have been 50 pages shorter but was still worth it.

Laughed out loud several times while reading this story, love Willow’s sense of humour and her ‘open your mouth and let your belly rumble’ way of talking. What a great pair Willow and Elvis make.

Awww the story of Elivs the star QB trying to get his life back together after a toxic relationship and the curvy college prima ballerina who hates football.
1st things 1st this story is fricking hilarious, the chemistry between these 2 and the back and fro banter is absolutely enpoint. Stick a sex ban on the 2 from the team coach and things get very entertaining indeed.
I love everything about this book and this couple can’t wait to read the rest of the ballsy boys.
Another amazing book from Shandi Boyes absolutely recommended 10 outta 10.

I really did enjoy this book. Good level of spice not overly descriptive or anything like that. I love Willow’s character. The way the author depicts her through the book made me laugh. The silly little dances and jokes. The little shocking plot twist was brilliant. I would definitely recommend this to read!

Willow is confident in her own skin and lives to her own rules. Presley or Elvis is making a comeback after a huge injury and finding out about his gold digging fiancee. A ten year age gap doesn’t seem so much until his ex gets up to her tricks again. Some very funny situations.

What a fun read. So entertaining. Willow is a curvaceous ballerina starting over after a life altering injury. Presley is NFL player trying to regained what he lost 2 years prior. He is a grump and she is all sunshine and laughter and he couldn’t resister. Great plot, likeable characters with laugh out loud moments. Highly recommended.

Willow is an Aussie student living in America. She damaged her knee when performing as a ballerina but her love of dance never left, she isnt a skinny stick girl either, she has curves and is proud of them. Presley is making a come back after breaking his back, he is a starting QB trying to get his life back after his girlfriend left him once he was injured. They meet when Willow helps the wife of his best friend and she hasnt a clue who he is. Its a funny light hearted romance were the two of them cant keep their hands off each other but have to when she starts as an intern with his team. Good fun read
