I’ve been using both the first and second volumes simultaneously to learn how to write Chinese characters. I don’t think I could do it without these books. The instructions are clear and I have been able to find every character I need in either volume 1 or 2. I’m studying Mandarin online and in a Zoom class so I really need to be able to study writing on my own. Very happy that I bought them.
